I use negative film with digital camera for both private works and advertising works.When I shoot a still life product, the soft gradation and three-dimensional expression of the negative film may surpass the sharp rendition of a digital camera.When using negative film for work such as advertising, the delivery time may be an issue. Thus, I use a high-resolution film scanner (Hasselblad Flextight) to convert the data directly from the negative film.
私はプラーベートな作品だけではなく広告やエディトリアルの仕事でもネガフィルムを使用しています。例えばそれがプロダクトや商品の撮影であってもネガフィルムを使用する事があります。ネガフィルムが持つ柔らなグラデーションや立体感の表現がデジタルカメラのシャープな表現を凌ぐ事があるからです。しかしながら広告などの仕事でネガフィルムを使用する場合は納品までの時間が問題になります。この問題を解決する為の方法として、高解像度フィルムスキャナー（ハッセルブラッド フレックスタイト）を使用してネガから直接データ化しています。
